My boyfriend said he needs space, to hang out with different crowds, to see whats out there. Then maybe eventually we could get back together later. We've been together for almost three years and have had a pretty good relationship. I'm still deeply in love with him and hoping he comes back. So how many of you have been in this type of situation or know someone that has and they've gotten back together? What are the chances he'll come back. After looking around, I learned — I've only known a few people to actually get back together. A situation that I was in, I was with this guy David for a year and 8 months, he told me that he needed space. . I was really upset but then when I got home that night, I realized that he was right. We did need space so I hung out with my girlfriends the next day and I started talking through texting to my ex-boyfriend Mike that I still really liked and it turned out that he liked me back so he asked me out. I hurt David because when he found out that I was dating someone else, he then wanted me back but I didn't want him. I was over him. Although Mike and I only lasted 2 1/2 months, it made me realize that there are so many more guys out there. I think I dated like 4 guys after David within 4 months. During that time, I found the perfect guy for me. We're engaged now. I think that there is a chance that your boyfriend could come back but keep in mind that you should also keep looking for other guys. Hope I helped.
