A guy at my work showed me and a couple other employees another guys an online dating profile of the guy. Some how the guy found out and complained to the manager about it. Could this guy be fired for it? He said he wasn't going to contact HR about it, and the guy that showed me said if the guy didn't want people to see it, he shouldn't have put it up. If he did contact HR would they even care. Today I found out that… The accessing employee could be in violation of company policy where HR is envolved. He is right that he can access the other gentlemen's profile because it is public domain but not from work. The accessing employee is using paid time and company resources to pursue his petty personal agena.
